Emma Watson has finally joined the ranks of Twitter, creating her own account on yesterday. She wrote in her first tweet:
" Hi everyone, this is the real me! I won’t be able to tweet often but I just wanted to say hello. Have a great summer, love Emma x "
The account, "@EmWatson" opens in new window, is not "verified" by Twitter itself yet, but the creator of Watson's official web site, Rob Noble, confirmed it is Emma by retweetingopens in new window her message and respondingopens in new window to a direct question about it.
Emma now joins other Potter cast members Tom Felton, Chris Rankin, James and Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis and Warwick Davis, who are all regular users of the social networking service.

Harry Potter Conference "Infinitus"

Infinitus: A Harry Potter Conference is officially only 12 days away, and there have been lots of updates for attendees.
Probably the most exciting update for attendees refers to the Costuming Policy that Universal Orlando has in place for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The statement from Universal is as follows:
"It has been decided that leniency with our costume policy will be extended specifically for our Infinitus Night of a Thousand Wizards event. Guests will be allowed to wear their costumes in the parks, beginning at 2pm, on the date of their event – July 16th.
So what does this mean for attendees? It means that on July 16, from 2pm until the "Night of a Thousand Wizards" after-hours event in the park, Infinitus attendees only will be allowed to wear costumes in the park – along specific guidelines – as long as they provide proof that they are attending the conference (in other words, registration badges must be prominently displayed at all times within the park). ... The official website of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", announced the first official teaser poster for the two-parts film.
The poster very ominously shows a battle-torn Hogwarts, along with the caption "It all ends here".
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows begins with Part 1 on November 19, 2010, with the series finale being released July 15, 2011.

New Movie Rumors for Emma Watson,Dan Radcliffe

With earlier news about projects for Harry Potter alums Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright, you didn't think the other two stars of the hit film series was just lying about, did you?
Emma Watson was rumored to be considering a role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which is also based on a novel -- this one written by Stephen Chbosky, who is rumored to also be the screenwriter and director for the film. Logan Lerman, who played the title character in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (which was directed by Chris Columbus, who directed the first two Potter films), has also been tied to this project. Again, this is just a rumor at this point, but I will keep you updated on any news.
News has hit the web today that Dan Radcliffe has signed on for a starring role in the WWI drama, All Quiet on the Western Front. In this remake of the 1930 Oscar-winning picture of the same name, the story focuses on the character of Paul Baumer (Radcliffe), a young German soldier who has been fighting in France. It is based on a novel by Erich Maria Remarque, and production is scheduled to begin in Spring 201, after Radcliffe finishes his Broadway run of "How to Succeed Without Really Trying".
Good to see that the end of Harry Potter does not mean we've seen the last of the young stars!
